RevPDF 4.5: the biggest mobile update yet

RevPDF 4.5.0 is rolling out now on Android and iOS, and it's the largest update we've ever shipped on mobile. Auto redaction, find and replace, a multi-tabbed viewer, auto save, new themes, and a long list of editor upgrades, all still 100% offline, with your files never leaving your device. Desktop will follow; mobile gets it first.

Auto redaction

True redaction has always been one of RevPDF's headline features, the content is removed from the file itself, not hidden under a black box. 4.5 makes it dramatically faster: instead of drawing a box over every occurrence by hand, auto redaction finds the content for you and removes every instance permanently. Redacting a name or account number from a 40-page contract now takes seconds, not minutes.

Find and replace

Search any text across your document and replace it everywhere in one action. Fixing a wrong date, an old company name, or a typo repeated across a long PDF no longer means editing page by page.

A multi-tabbed PDF viewer

Open several PDFs at once and switch between them in tabs, just like a browser. Comparing a contract against its revision, or referencing one document while editing another, finally works the way it should on a phone or tablet.

Auto save and stability

Your edits are now saved automatically as you work, so an interruption, a phone call, a low battery, a switch to another app, never costs you progress. Alongside auto save, 4.5 includes significant crash fixes and stability optimisation across the app. It's the most reliable RevPDF has ever been.
