Welcome to RevPDF. By using our application, you agree to follow and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using RevPDF, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the app. These terms apply to all users of the application.
2. License to Use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use RevPDF for personal or professional purposes, subject to these terms. All intellectual property rights in the app remain our property.
3. Offline-First Experience & Privacy
RevPDF performs PDF editing, merging, compression, conversion, redaction, scanning, and OCR recognition locally on your device. RevPDF does not automatically upload your documents, scanned pages, annotations, signatures, or recognised text to RevPDF-operated servers for processing. The app may retain local recovery copies, caches, reusable signatures, recent-file information, and preferences as described in the Privacy Policy. If you intentionally share, export, open, or save through another application or cloud service, that provider may receive the selected file.
The app may connect for automatic update checks and font downloads; mobile advertising and app-store entitlement checks; Android scanner-component downloads; and user-approved Windows/Linux OCR-model downloads. Some font downloads are automatic and the mobile AdMob SDK is initialised at startup, including before Premium status is fully known. The Privacy Policy describes the connection triggers and information potentially received.
4. In-App Purchases & Advertisements
Desktop (macOS, Linux, Windows): RevPDF is provided free of charge on all desktop platforms. No in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertisements are present. All features are available without any payment or account.
Mobile In-App Purchases (Android & iOS): RevPDF is a free download with an optional $9.99 one-time Premium upgrade. All transactions are processed exclusively by the respective app store platform; RevPDF does not process, see, or store any payment information.
- Android (Google Play Store): Purchases are handled by Google LLC. Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. Premium status is associated with the Google account used at the time of purchase. RevPDF has no involvement in the billing process.
- iOS (Apple App Store): Purchases are handled by Apple Inc. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. Premium status is associated with your Apple ID. RevPDF has no involvement in the billing process.
Advertisements (Mobile): Non-premium users on Android and iOS may see banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. RevPDF stops requesting and displaying ads after Premium status is recognised, but the current app initialises the AdMob SDK at mobile startup before that status is fully known, including for Premium users. Google may process advertising, app, device, interaction, location, and diagnostic information as described in the Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Limitation of Liability
RevPDF is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any data loss, file corruption, or incidental damages resulting from the use of the app. It is your responsibility to maintain backups of important documents.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
