Install RevPDF on Linux

  1. Open the Linux download panel and select x86_64 or ARM64.
  2. Make the downloaded AppImage executable in your file manager, or run chmod +x revpdf_editor-*.AppImage.
  3. Open the AppImage and start editing. No login or license key is required. First-time OCR setup may offer a consented Tesseract language-model download.

Does RevPDF work on Ubuntu?

RevPDF is distributed as an AppImage and supports compatible Linux distributions with glibc 2.35 or later and GTK 3, including current Ubuntu releases.

Is there an ARM64 Linux build?

Does PDF editing need an internet connection?

Core PDF editing and document processing run locally. RevPDF can connect for automatic update checks and fonts, and may offer a consented one-time Tesseract language-model download on first OCR use. Documents and recognised text are not automatically uploaded to RevPDF-operated servers for processing.
